Besides architecture, Tel Aviv has a rep for street art, most of which can be found in Florentin, a grungy industrial area turned hipster haven just to the north east of Jaffa.
The main graffiti sites are along Arbarbanel Street and Vital Street which I’ve marked on my Google map, along with some others we didn’t have time to visit. Click on the photos to go to the whole screen slideshow.
There are heaps of interesting looking bars and restaurants in the area. We were just passing through so I can’t tell you much, but we stopped for a beer break at the Casbah www.facebook.com at 3 Florentin Street. It’s a nice space and the food looked good.
A walk through the neighbouring district of Neve Tzedek next!
